I turn deep research into clear analysis.

I'm Radhakishan Jat — a research and content analyst with deep expertise in Indian education, governance, and policy. Six years of UPSC preparation (Prelims cleared 3 times), two EdTech roles, and one self-built app. Currently building GyanGram — a Flutter-based UPSC prep platform — and looking for full-time roles in research, content, data, and product analytics.

RK Jat – Data Analyst

An unusual path to data

I didn't come to data through computer science. I came through years of studying India — its governance, its economy, its society. That detour turned out to be the most valuable thing I could have done.

2018-2024
UPSC Civil Services Preparation
Six years of rigorous self-directed mastery in Indian governance, constitutional law, economic policy, history, geography, and current affairs. Cleared Prelims 3 times across 5 attempts (2020, 2021, 2023). Built domain expertise in Indian policy, education systems, and socioeconomic research that most analysts take a decade to develop.
Deep domain expertise most analysts don't have

How I Work

01
Questions first, tools second
The most important part of any analysis is knowing what you're actually trying to find out. I spend more time defining the right question than running the code.
02
Data without context is noise
Numbers only mean something when you understand what's behind them. My background studying India's governance means I can explain why data looks that way.
03
Insight should be readable by anyone
Every visualization and analysis I produce is designed for a non-technical decision-maker. If someone has to decode your chart, you haven't finished the work.

My Approach to AI

I use AI to move faster, not to think less.

I'm transparent about this: I use AI tools to help write code, accelerate data processing, and prototype visualizations faster. But AI doesn't know whether India's fiscal devolution formula is equitable. It doesn't know which Lok Sabha trends matter. It doesn't know how to frame an insight for a policymaker. That judgment comes from years of study, reading, and thinking — and that's mine.

Let's Talk

I'm actively looking for a full-time data analyst role where I can bring both technical skills and genuine subject matter depth. If you're working on something interesting — especially India-related data — I'd love to hear about it.
